하얀 광물과 누런 모래알, 진득이는 붉은 흙덩이 위로 쌓이는 시간과 목소리. 땅과 땅 사이를 채로 거르고 남은 일부를 모아 또 하나의 땅을 빚는다. 
삼 년 전에 시작한 땅과의 여정은 가평부터 평창, 아산과 제주를 거쳐 네 개의 땅으로 이어진다. 양구의 방산, 남양주의 팔당, 임실의 오수와 뇌천, 안산의 초지. 함께 거친 흙을 밟으며 우리는 재료의 기원을, 낯선 이들의 역사를, 동료의 지난 시간을 마주하고 질문을 던진다. ‘내가 쓰는 이 흙의 기원은 어디인가. 나는 왜 사람들과 함께하고 싶은가. 장소가 아닌 사람이 고향이 될 수 있는가.’ 
잎과 가지가 엉긴 흙을 굽고, 가마를 짓는 벽돌을 세우고, 마주한 이름들을 새기며 우리가 함께할 땅을 짓는다. 그곳에 앉아 이들의 여정을 따라가 보자. 시스템 속에서 통제된 재료가 아닌 물질의 생동감이, 적막히 반복되는 수행이 아닌 서로에게 질문으로 이어지는 실천이 이곳에 있다. 
함께 걷는다. 각자의 걸음으로 이어지는 땅 위를 함께 걸어 간다.

​​​​​​​Time and voices pile upon white minerals, yellow sand, and sticky red clay. We sift through lands, gathering the remnants to mold a new ground.
Our journey with the land began three years ago. Passing through Gapyeong, Pyeongchang, Asan, and Jeju, it now connects four lands: Bangsan in Yanggu, Paldang in Namyangju, Osu and Noecheon in Imsil, and Choji in Ansan. Walking together on the rough soil, we face the origin of our materials, the history of strangers, and our colleagues' past. We ask: "Where is the origin of the soil I use? Why do I want to be with others? Can a person, rather than a physical place, become a home?"
Baking clay mixed with leaves and branches, piling bricks for a kiln, and engraving the names we encountered, we build a land to share. Let us sit there and trace their journey. Here, we find the raw vitality of matter instead of system-controlled materials, and an active practice of asking questions to one another rather than a quiet, repetitive routine.
We walk together. We walk together on the ground, connected by our individual steps.
