«뒹구는 돌은 언제 잠 깨는가»전은 프로젝트 와일드 클레이 리서치를 바탕으로, 4월부터 8월 사이 채집한 국내 열두 지역(가평, 광주, 경주, 남양주, 안동, 양주, 영월, 이천, 의성, 정선, 파주, 평창)의 토양 데이터와 야생 점토 샘플, 그리고 자연의 흙을 마주한 여섯 작가의 경험이 녹아든 작업을 공유한다.
작업의 재료이자 삶의 근원인 땅을 경험하며 나와 우리를 구성하는 세계를 이해하고 지속가능한 재료와 삶을 탐구하는 새로운 관점을 제시한다.
Based on the 'Wild Clay Research' project, the exhibition When Do Rolling Stones Wake Up presents soil data and wild clay samples collected between April and August from twelve regions across Korea (Gapyeong, Gwangju, Gyeongju, Namyangju, Andong, Yangju, Yeongwol, Icheon, Uiseong, Jeongseon, Paju, and Pyeongchang), alongside artworks imbued with the experiences of six artists who engaged directly with natural earth.
